How we label stories

Readers deserve to know what they are reading. Every Business Spotlight story on US Local Real Estate carries a Business Spotlight label in every listing, at the top of the story and again at its close, together with the name of the company that supplied it.

Business Spotlight stories are published as supplied. Claims, figures and descriptions are those of the company. We may remove contact details, tracking links and formatting that doesn't belong on a news page.

Stories from other publishers

Headlines from other publishers link to the original story and remain their property.

Market data

Figures on our market pages come from the public sources named beside each one and are shown as published. They are national or statewide averages and medians, not valuations of any particular home, and nothing on this site is financial advice.

What we won't publish

We don't publish Business Spotlight stories that promote stocks, securities or cryptocurrency, make claims we can't stand behind, or are misleading, hateful or unlawful.
